This is a nice clean campground, with convenient access to highway, restaurants, Wal-mart, etc. An Elementary school is located next door. We liked that it had cable hookups and wi-fi which worked well throughout our stay. Front desk helpful and store was well-stocked with convenient items. We would stay here again. It felt safe.

Only stayed here couple nights passing through. Central location is good, but park is crammed into its location somewhat it seems; very tight close together spots and very narrow roads in between; didn't mind since weren't vacationing or anything, just needed full hookups; no cable, antenna picked up several local channels however; quiet and felt safe; very back has some permanent trailers; front desk courteous and helpful. Would probably stay here again.

We stayed here approximately 2 weeks. We liked that it was a newer park; free cable with lots of channels and Wi-Fi for a fee. The site pads were all paved, and even though small concrete area, the sites were spacious between each other. The park seemed to understand that due to design we had to park a little on the grass for lack of room on the concrete pad. It appeared they were paving some sights to extend them. Rain makes for muddy sites; they did have maintenance shoveling etc. and working to keep sites as nice as possible. I noticed the weekends did fill up with LSU fans, families, etc; but kids were taken on train rides around the park; tiki bar had a crowd, but didn't bother us; if this is a concern I recommend asking for a site toward the back away from the action; the park is large enough with many sites. The Crawfish Restaurant next door delivers to the sites, and was good. No shade if that's a concern for you. We had no problems and I would add the owner/staff were extremely nice and helpful. The store is nicely stocked and convenient. Would stay here again.

Only stayed here one night/stopover, and got there late at night. Entrance was a little tricky for our big fifth wheel since there was a median in front of the park entrance, passed it and had to do a couple turn-a rounds further down and come back. One of the hosts was on a golf cart and greeted us and led us to our site which was helpful since it was dark. What little we saw appeared to be well-kept and clean; noticed there was a fenced pool area; next morning front desk was courteous and friendly. Location is centralized for Dallas area, however park is located in the middle of "town", right off the road vs. a big entrance, not as much openness/spaciousness of some KOA campgrounds. Would stay here again if needed.

Nice, well-kept park; nice pull-throughs, nice shade. Front desk staff was helpful and courteous. Facilities were clean. Convenient to freeway and nearby grocery stores, wal-mart, restaurants in both directions. Noise was not an issue during our stay. Tengo internet fee based on daily, weekly, monthly rates. No cable hook-ups. Access into the park is a bit round-about due to the freeway exits being either before or after where the park entrance is situated, but was not a big deal. Our RV had some maintenance issues during our stay, and the park staff referred us to a wonderful mobile RV repair man who fixed our problems on-site and promptly. Would stay at this park again.

Only RV park we found in this area. Overall is a nice park, appears to be older park but well-kept. Has playground with jungle gym for kids. As noted in previous reviews, there are permanent trailer homes surrounding the RV sites, some of them vacant, some occupied. Some RV sites are on the river. RV park owner is very nice, courteous, and helpful. Your trash is picked up for you. No internet or cable hookups here. Picked up 3-4 channels with antenna. We used our Sprint wireless card for internet which had great reception, also Sprint cell reception was good. Some sites are close together, some not, some gravel, some blacktop. Lots of trees. Owner will inform you which sites are available and let you choose, but will depend if you want 30 amp or 50 amp and availability at the time. Park had both seasonal extended campers and overnight/short stay campers. Would stay here again.

This was the closest RV park we could find to Chicago, and it was still quite a drive with bad traffic. It has close access to the freeway. Overall it was a nice park, nothing fancy, close to conveniences, didn't have any problems.
